Key responsibilities/essential functions include: . Responsible for image quality parameter design and optimization for Ultrasound product Responsible for ultrasound acoustic field and beam profile analysis, acoustic algorithm simulation and design Responsible for scan sequence and signal processing algorithm simulation and design.Responsible for new algorithms design for new features and new applications . Responsible for system clinical evaluation to meet customer requirement Required Qualifications: . Bachelor''s degree or above .Major in acoustic/physical engineering, electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, signal processing or related area Experienced in C/C++ and Matlab .Excellent writing and reading English, good spoken English. . Open mindset and easy communication and strong willing on team working Preferred Qualifications: . Master''s degree or above.Ultrasound background . GE Healthcare JOB TYPE: SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER Function: Technology/ Engineering Family: Ultrasound System Description: Senior system engineer is an expert in system domain that leads team to an on-quality, on-time delivery to meet clinical/customer needs. He or she is expected to have domain expertise in at least two fields as listed: ultrasound physics, ultrasound algorithm design and simulation, . beamforming, signal/image processing, image quality optimization, acoustic power control, new feature design and implementation. He or she is also expected to work with multi-tasks, under highly cross function interactive and results driven atmosphere. Key responsibilities/essential functions include: , ●Responsible for algorithm design and optimization that continuously improves image quality to meet customer''s requirement. Responsible for ultrasound acoustic field and beam profile analysis, acoustic algorithm simulation, and acoustic power output control to meet IEC/FDA requirements ●Responsible for scan sequence and signal processing algorithm simulation and design. Responsible for new algorithms design for new features and new applications. Responsible for system debug with HW/SW team to improve system noise and performance. Responsible for system clinical evaluation with internal/external customers and quick response to improve based on evaluation results Quality Specific Goals: . ●Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply for this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. ●Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements. Reguired Qualifications: ●Master degree with 5 years or above experience, PhD degree with 3 years or above experience. ●Major in acoustic/physics, electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, signal/image ●Familiar with hardware noise analysis and signal processing. Ultrasound technology background. ●Experienced in C++ and Matlab. Good written and spoken English. Open minded, willing to share, strong ownership and team work. Preferred Qualifications: ●Knowledge of clinical ultrasound and competitor products. ●Ilmplementation capability/experience of ultrasonic algorithm or features.
